(From L to R: Revlon's Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in "Honey", Revlon's Super Lustrous Lipstick in "Rose Velvet", Revlon Lip Butter in "Pink Truffle", Benefit's Silky Finish Lipstick in "Good to Go", Buxom's Big and Healthy Lipstick in "Brooklyn")
Though I like to experiment with many different bold lip colours, I always come back to my favourite "your lip but better colours". I am sucker for finding the perfect lip product that enhances my natural lip colour, hence my collection of five very similar shades. Some of which are perfect dupes for one another...

Revlon's Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in "Honey"
I have several Revlon products because they were my favourite drugstore brand before they were recently removed from Peta's Cruelty Free list. So, for the moment I am no longer purchasing Revlon products until they are cruelty free again. That being said, I still wanted to review the Revlon products I do have in my collection. I'm a huge fan of the Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stains. I love the shape of the lipstick, making it so easy to apply. It has a mild minty scent which I really like. The colour is very buildable, making it easy to go from a very natural and sheer tone, to a more bold hue. Also, despite being a lip stain, it isn't a drying formula and still lasts several hours!
Revlon's Super Lustrous Lipstick in "Rose Velvet"
This lipstick is in a "creme"finish, so it has a more moisturizing formula. The lipstick has no scent to it, which is something I prefer as I'm sensitive to fragrances. It wears fairly well throughout the day, lasting a standard few hours like most typical lipsticks.
Revlon Lip Butter in "Pink Truffle"
I love the Revlon Lip Butters, as do most people here in the blog and YouTube world. The strong pigmentation and moisturizing formula makes them a win-win in my eyes. The product has a mild sweet / vanilla-y/ sugary scent but it's not overpowering. The lip butters aren't very long lasting but no different than the wear time of a lipstick. Pink Truffle has a glossy-esque finish and is extremely similar to my next product featured, Benefit's "Good to Go".
Benefit's Silky Finish Lipstick in "Good to Go"
Benefit's Silky Finish Lipsticks have a very similar formulation to the Revlon Lip Butters. The lipstick is very pigmented and moisturizing. However, due to this formulation, I find that it doesn't have the staying power of a lipstick. This product is unscented and I love the sleek packaging and pretty design!
Buxom's Big and Healthy Lipstick in "Brooklyn"
This Big and Healthy Lipstick is the first Buxom product I've tried. I'm quite happy with it but not overwhelmed with brilliance either. I like the shape of the lipstick, the marker like applicator makes it easy to apply precisely. It is very pigmented with buildable colour. This lipstick has a matte finish, making it a bit drying. It has a very good staying power for a lipstick and a mild scent that I can't quite put my finger on how to describe (so next time you're at Sephora you'll have to give the samples a bit of a smell for yourself, sorry! ha)
Let me know in the comments below if you have a favourite "your lips but better" product!
I haven't found mine, primarily because the brands I buy need to be vegan, cruelty free etc etc so it's hard to find shops that stock them in places that I can get to in order to sample the shades! x
