Today's "Nailed It" post features an Essie polish with a F21 gold glitter accent nail.
I love a gold and coral combo so I like pairing these two polishes together.
Essie's Carousel Coral is a coral that leans more towards the pink side of the scale as opposed to orange. I've had this polish for a couple years now and have never noticed a problem. However, this time around, I was really disappointed in how difficult it was to apply when doing this look. The polish was streaky and drying in a strange pattern. For some nails, I had to do 3 coats to get an opaque look. So, I was a bit bummed about that since Essie isn't the most affordable nail brand out there. Other than that, I do like the colour but I don't think it's anything special/ unique.
The Forever 21 gold polish on the other hand applied and dried nicely. It only took a few coats to get the glitter opaque. In terms of removal, I'd recommend using pure acetone to makes things a littler easier.
