So I typically do hauls on my YouTube channel. But, this order was such a tiny one that I decided to showcase these items on my blog for a change. I did a little online shopping last week on Amazon and Indigo...
I was initially going to purchase everything from Indigo, but the two books I wanted were each $5 cheaper from Amazon - hence the two different orders (so I saved $10 wooh!)
I got two journal type books from Amazon. The first, "Q&A a Day", is a journal that asks you a different question each day for a year. Then, you repeat the process over for 5 years. So, it's a neat way to look back and see how your answers change each year. Next, I got "One Line A Day" which I am going to use as a gratitude journal. I sometimes let negativity get the best of me so I'm really trying to focus more on being positive every day. This journal just has a few blank lines for each day of the year, for five years. So, you can write down a little something each day that you're thankful for or something good that happened that day etc. I like that since it's blank, you can sort of use it for whatever purpose you desire. Each of these books were around $13. So considering you get to use them for 5 years, I think it's quite a good price!

Next, I made an Indigo order because they were having a big sale (story of a shopper's life, right?). I will rarely buy any Indigo home type stuff/ stationary etc at full price because frankly, I think most of it is quite overpriced. But, majority of my purchases were on sale, hence my justification for buying it all ha. As photographed at the beginning of this post, I got a mug with a cursive B on it and a set of blank notecards with different shoes on them. The mug was full price at $8, but the shoe notecards were 50% off! Pictured below is a close up of a few other little things I picked up. First, a small faux leather pouch. The last thing I need is another one of these but I liked how the zipper goes partially down the side, making it easier to take things in and out. This pouch was also on sale. Next, I got a 7 Year Pen. For any of you that are unfamiliar with this brand - the idea is that the pen will last you for seven years! I have never used one before but the concept has fascinated me for years now. So, I finally caved in when I saw this design. Unfortunately, I thought this pen with a cute vintage key design was black, but the barrel of the pen is actually brown. Not the end of the world but I just thought I'd let anyone know because on the website it looks black. Thankfully the ink is still black though! Lastly, I got these Retractobuds for an absolute steal! They retail for around $30 and I got them for $8! They are Apple headphones (or exact Apple design look-a-likes) with a retractable little contraption so your headphones don't get tangled in your bag! The retractable component also has a magnet so you can attach the headphones to your clothes.
I love little knick knacks like this - especially when on sale!
